Marie Claire RIP Image
Emma Critchley, David Dipre, Aly Helyer, Annie Kevans, David Lock, Kate Lyddon, EJ Major, Boo Ritson and Tim Stoner
The body is a house of many windows: there we all sit, showing ourselves and crying on the passers-by to come and love us.
Robert Louis Stevenson
This exhibition considers how we communicate the figure and how identity infects and affects works of art, how we read them and how they are produced. It is also about the dichotomy between painting and photography.
The portrait, the mask, the ownership of identity: each artist considers these things either through representation or technique. Details to come on:

ABCED will be featured in a show taking place at The Gagosian Gallery, New York during the NY Armory Show March 6 -Sunday, March 10 2013. Details to follow.
